Tera Manjil ( Trimbakeshwar ) Temple in Rishikesh Uttarakhand
Tera Manzil Temple, also known as Trimbakeshwar Temple, is a thirteen-story temple and an important religious landmark in Rishikesh. Unlike other temples that are dedicated to a single deity, the Trimbakeshwar temple houses the idols of all Hindu gods and goddesses.
Adi Guru Shankaracharya established the temple in the 12th century. The Trimbakeshwar Temple is best visited during the Mahashivratri festival and Sawan month. The emerald water of the Ganges can be seen from the temple’s topmost floor, which appears calm when viewed from a height.
