Budher Caves in Chakrata Uttarakhand
Budher caves, also known as Miola caves, are located about 30 kilometers from Chakrata. Miola is named after the German who discovered the cave, and it is now a popular spot for spelunking or cave exploration.
The cave is thought to have been dug by the Pandavas during their “Vanvaas,” or exile before the Mahabharata War. The cave is approximately 150m long and is an excellent location for adrenaline junkies looking for caving opportunities. The caves are mostly made of limestone rocks, which have brilliant stalagmite and stalactite formations.
