Gautam Rishi Temple in Tehri Garhwal

The Gautam Rishi temple is located 8 kilometers from Tehri on the Dehradun-Saharanpur road and is a must-see. It is thought to be a haunted place where one of the Saptarishi, Gautam Rishi, a devotee of Lord Shiva, is said to have lived. The lake near the temple is considered so holy that a dip in it is equivalent to a dip in the Ganga.
