Victoria Dam in Bhimtal Uttarakhand

One of the most beautiful sights in Bhimtal is the Victoria Dam, which is located on the bank of Bhimtal Lake. The most appealing feature of this dam is the flower gardens on either side, which make the area appear quite enticing.

This 40-foot-high dam attracts a large number of tourists, and one can also take a stroll through the forest that surrounds the lake.

Pantnagar Airport, located approximately 58 kilometers from Bhimtal, has only small carrier flights landing here. The airport in Dehradun is 285 kilometers away. The nearest railway station is 21 kilometers away, at Kathgodam.

The nearest airport to Bhimtal is Pantnagar Airport, which is located 58 kilometers away. It has regular flights to Delhi and is easily accessible by Bhimtal via a well-maintained road. Taxis are easily available outside the airport for a comfortable 2-hour ride to Bhimtal. Alternatively, the better-connected Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is 285 kilometers away, with plenty of cab services available.

To get to Bhimtal, both state-owned and private buses run regularly from Nainital and Kathgodam. Buses and taxis can also be hired from these cities to get to Bhimtal.
